About Ahar Restaurant
Signature asian halal food.
Located at 125 Mills St, Buffalo, NY 14212, Ahar Restaurant operates as a pan-asian restaurant serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Buffalo peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The owner was amazing and very accommodating. I got the burger and a platter to go. The house sauce was great. I am definitely going back.

The food was kinda disgusting, the chow mein was good but the weekday special Kacchi Biryani was just nasty, they served it cold and we had to ask them to warm it up. The service was good, the place was clean and decent Street parking, the prices were also inaccurate on the menu. Overall I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to just give it a try. Edit: The Food was literally served cold. It was probably made in the morning, it completely lacked flavor, I had to ask the young man working to warm it up π, ofc everyone has there own taste, but when 2 people can't eat something because of lack of taste, we took it home so it doesn't get wasted, even than no one liked it. I avoid biases when I write my reviews.

Great food and outstanding service. Jamshed vai was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the mutton biryani and chicken kacchi. Definitely worth trying, highly recommended.

Recently visited this place and found it to be a family run restaurant, had their chicken and beef samosa they were exceptional and filled with so much meat. Also had the chance to try their dumplings and oh my god β they were so goood!! Coming from a big dumpling fan. Definitely going back for more. Do check out this place you will not regretπ«Άπ»

I wanna start by saying the staff was extremely kind, made my food right there, and engaged with us while we waited. The presentation was also extremely nice! I tried their new sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, and sadly it was just sweet. I am an avid spice lover, so the spicer the better! The sweetness wasnβt over powering but wouldβve been more please if it had the spicy to accompanying it. The fries were also pretty tasty, just wish it was a little crispier. And I wish the chicken to bread ratio was a bit better. But the bread was so soft, keep it! We also ordered the chicken over rice and my bf didnβt like that the chicken was sweet and thought it needed more flavor. I personally like the fact that the rice wasnβt dry as you get with other places. The chicken couldβve been a bit more seasoned but it wasnβt bad! Overall I was satisfied with my meal for the price, taste, and freshness. And knowing they just reopened, Iβd say give it a try and offer your suggestions, the owner is nice and wanting to improve his cuisine!
